
The Nutrition Society of New Zealand 59th Annual Conference
The 2025 Nutrition Society of New Zealand scientific conference will be held from the 26th to the 28th of November at The Tūhura Otago Museum, Otago, New Zealand. This year’s programme centres on the theme of Advancing Nutrition: Evidence, Translation, and Action. Come and join us in the beautiful South Island to connect with our nutrition whānau and share the latest in nutritional science from Oceania and beyond.

The Programme and Speakers
The conference programme will feature plenary presentations by international and Oceanic experts, parallel sessions with oral presentations of submitted abstracts, and professional development workshops tailored for postgraduate students, early career researchers, and Registered Nutritionists.

The Muriel bell Lecture
The Muriel Bell Lecture is named in honour of Dr. Muriel Bell, a pioneering nutritionist and public health advocate in New Zealand. Each year, a distinguished individual who has made outstanding contributions to nutrition or related sciences is selected to deliver the Muriel Bell Lecture.
