We encourage anyone with an interest in nutrition within New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific Islands to join our organisations.
NSNZ and FONS each offer unique membership benefits, and many members find value in belonging to both communities.
Nutrition Society of New Zealand (NSNZ) connects nutrition professionals, researchers, educators, and students across New Zealand, who are interested in researching, applying and promoting sound nutrition. Members benefit from professional development, networking, and resources, and opportunities to connect with the wider nutrition community..
Membership also provides pathways to professional registration for degree-qualified nutritionists.

Federation of Oceanic Nutrition Societies (FONS) membership is open to any individual or organisation whose interests align with our purpose, to bring together people for the advancement of nutrition science, health and wellbeing throughout Oceania. Members are part of a regional network that fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the strengthening of nutrition practice and research across diverse communities and contexts.
